Oh and I did have one lump and you can't see it, but can feel it. It's half an inch in diametre. I asked what it was and the PS said it was fat that likely calcified. Otherwise, my only peeve is the marks from the incisions! Small, but can't wait for them to fade.
Hey Sharon, been super busy with work!! When I decided to start on this journey, I just changed jobs and wasn't nearly as busy. You look fabulous as well! I am still swollen a bit as well and I can tell there's some loose skin that needs to retract but I too am happy I did it. Can you believe it's been 8 weeks now?? Happy healing! I've been following your progress :)
No worries! Always happy to help :) For my insurance, it covers only RMT (Registered Massage Therapist) massages. There are many RMTs that also specialize in Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage which is the one we need to help reduce the swelling. When I spoke to my insurance company, they didn't care what type of massage I was getting, merely that it was going to be performed by a RMT for medical reasons. I needed a doctor's note for the RMT, which my PS was willing to provide for me. Hope that helps!
