Can I just clarify - when we talk about fillers to produce volume around the face (not just the nose-to-mouth and/or marionette lines, are there particular types I should look for? I had Juvederm Voluma in my cheeks as apposed to regular Juvederm in other areas. I have heard a lot about Sculptra and wondered what the difference is with this and if it's something I should consider? Thank you again

I thought I would post an update, as my original post was 3 months ago now. As most doctors commented, my cheeks did settle dramatically, although I would say it took a good month for the final result. I don't think I had really been warned of how it would look at first, and expected it to be like fillers I've had in other ears such as nose-to-mouth where it generally didn't change or swell much. I want to thank all of the doctors who took the time to comment as it was very helpful and reassuring. I would say that the finished look, although fine, hasn't really treated the problem I originally visited the doctor for which is the hollowness of the LOWER cheek, highlighted by the fact I have sagging skin at the corners of my mouth (on one side is a mole, making it look slightly worse). I would be grateful for any recommendations of what to do to address this issue - I had been recommended that Thermage might be the best treatment, and would appreciate any thoughts on this. I also noticed that my nose-to-mouth lines seemed, almost from the first day of having juvederm in my cheeks, look noticably worse, and have continued to do so - is this a known side effect from plumping this area?
