Awwww, Lou, I am sure that your surgery will go perfect and that you will be so pleased with your results. I am sorry to hear that your implants are leaking silicone, however, I am glad that you found out that they are leaking and that you are able to have them removed. I am nervous too about the scaring and hoping that they are even. I feel a little better because as I had said before, the doctor sent me pictures of my surgery and I have seen how they look immediately after surgery and they were even. Also, I have looked at a lot of before and after pics of explant with lift and the results that I have seen were great. They say that the scaring could take up to a year to lighten up. I am sure that you are going to do great and heal great, and feel much better once you are truly you. Prayers for your surgery and speedy recovery. =)
Annie12345, I was a 34A before implants and with implants I was a 34D. Because of that I did have a lot of available stretched out tissue to lift and definitely needed it. Will more than likely be an A again, but that is ok. Ready to be natural again. Do you have a date set for your explant, or are you still looking and researching?

I was so nervous too, but I just made sure that I took my pain meds when needed which was only 5 days, I followed all of the doc's orders and let my family take care of me as well. It has really been a great experience. Way better than I thought it would be. I do get my bandages off next Wednesday, but I expect really good results as the doctor has already sent me via email photos during my surgery. Above all, I am just glad to have them out as I know they were causing me lots of trouble. What has made you decide to have an explant??
