    I would recommend you go to a doctor instead of a medspa. For example, Advanced Dermatology (several locations) has their MDs do this.

    I think it was less than a syringe - because the nurse used the remainder in my lips.

    Mine were usually swollen right afterward, but would go down in a day or two. This occurred 6 months after my last injection - and out of the blue!

    Sorry to hear about your experience - mine too was very similar. I did end up getting 5 hyaluronidase injections over a period of 3 months, in addition to two rounds of oral steroids and one set of steroid injections. I am finally returning to normal after 5 months of complete agony - although the skin under my eyes was stretched so much from the reaction - I do have deeper wrinkles than before. I have done a round of Selphyl since and I will be doing laser treatment starting this week. Best of luck on your recovery!

    Twice at a medi-spa and twice at a dermatologist. I am not sure what to think since the reaction was so delayed (3 months after the fact!). However, I will be going to doctor's office going forward.
