Hi everyone, been busy to get on this forum. But wanted to give update. Been working out 5-6 days a week, mostly weights. Cardio 2-3 times a week. Lost the weight so decided it was time to work on strength training. If anyone had Instagram my acct name is sfborn and I have a couple of progress pics on there. Been using myfitnesspal to track what I eat. Haven't had my 6 month check up yet due to my schedule. I do still feel some swelling every now and then. I notice its only when I'm at work and have been sleep deprived (I work nights.. Hope everyone's doing well!!

Hello November TT'ers. Have been pretty busy these last few weeks. almost 11 weeks post op (nov 29) and feeling good. Still have some swelling especially after eating even just a little bit of salt. I've posted a couple new pics to my profile. My scar is now red. guess that's a good thing...Been eating pretty clean and exercising a lot. This surgery was well worth it!!

Sooooo worth it! I wish i would have done it sooner. You do have to be realistic with expectations. Going on this website really helped to see how the ups and downs can be with this surgery.

7 weeks post-op tomorrow. I feel 90% normal now. Started at gym last week and used one of those support garments found at tjmaxx fir $5. Today was first day i didnt use the garment and started incorporating weights. Still feel numb at lower abs but that may never go away. Really excited to start bikram yoga next week. Ps said yoga at 8 weeks is ok. Been fortunate to still be off work and take my time to recover and be ready to start 12 hour shifts again

Wow you went back to work so soon! I am also a nurse (floor) and have been told by PS 6-8 weeks before going back to work. I think i am mostly afraid of having to do chest compressions or pulling up a patient too hard and messing up the muscle repair. How were u able to go back so quickly?
