It is SO normal to feel so anxious! I was a total wreck leading up to my surgery. Everytime I would think about it, my hands would start shaking. All I can say is that it's so worth it, and you will have such an incredible feeling of relief and peace when you wake up from the surgery and it's over! As far as clothing, I wore loose dresses the first week, yoga pants the next 4 weeks, and then I fit in my regular clothes including jeans. I could not sleep in the bed until the end of week 3. Even then I slept with a wedge pillow and a pillow under each arm and another under my knees until about week 8. I used a walker around the house the first 10 days. LIFESAVER! It takes the pressure off of your back! By week three I was going to stores...not pain free, but doable. Also, I want to add that I got a BA too along with the tummy tuck. Like you I did not want to go bigger, just fuller since I felt like mine looked like ski slopes. I love mine now, but I do want to warn you that if you do decide to do it, it will feel like they are too big at first because of the swelling. They warned me about it but it still freaked me out. I'm several months out now and they are perfect!
It was oozing and irritated because of the stitches trying to work it's way out. After he pulled the stitches out and cut them, I had to cover it with neosporin and gauze for a week. Thank God it 's looking better now!
