I am going through this same issue. I feel 4 months pregnant and feel as ifthe tt didnot helpme at all. I do not look like all those photos online. I just keep reading that you need to wait 6 months for final results....

I also have an uneven tt above the incision near bb. My PS checked for seroma but no fluid was present on either side. My stomach is protuding sometimes but I have never seen it flat. I am 7 weeks PO.. PS said to watch it for another month and also diet and excercise to see any improvements. My swollen side has not chaged in side just still out higher than other side... I think we just have to wait and watch... heard swelling can last up to months and your real results may take up to a year.

Thank you all for your replies. I went to see my PS today and he stuck two large needles in me but no fluid came out. He checked my stomach and said everything was fine but I am bloated than before. Said to wait another month to see my results.... but most likely I wont be too much flatter than this. I had inner fat before my surgery and he said that I need to loose the rest from diet and excercise. Is this truue.... will I never get to a flat stomach or is there still swelling to go through?

I am 4weeks PO and still swollen in lower bell and under incision. I put ice under my incision and that helped. My upper is numb so dont want to ice and mess something up. I have an open wound under my right breast at Incision line and it's taking long time to heal. So frustrated .... With one issue after another. Now. Am getting small pimples around the open sore from sweat and heat. Any suggestions on getting this healed faster? Wearing a binder but it's so hot .... Stomach swells if I don't wear it.
  • Posted to How long did you honestly wear your binder? on 10 Sep 2012
I had full tt and Lipo of flanks... I started my binder two weeks after surgery due to some skin burns from tape. I am four weeks post op and have worn binder only two weeks. I changed to a spans but did not get the tightness around tummy so changed back to binder. My doctor does nt say much about wearing it or not. I just read these blogs and see what works for me. I think I will wear my binder for two more weeks 24/7 and then see if my swelling goes down more.
