Are you telling me that people like me who had a very positive experience with Fraxel are lying??? and were compensated in any way? So you are in fact suggesting that users take your reviews at face value but not reviews of others. This is ridiculous. It makes me mad because Fraxel can be great if administered by a trained and experienced provider. I've done 5 over the course of 4 years for rejuvenation and mild acne scars. I am extremely happy with my results and can assure you that nobody compensated me in any way to be saying that.
I am just so shocked when I read about all the terrible side effects. I had such an amazing experience with Fraxel it literally changed my skin to where I don't use any foundation or powder (after not being able to leave the house without putting on tons of makeup for most of my life). So I wonder whether some skin doesn't tolerate this procedure well or perhaps some doctors don't have the appropriate skill and experience to use this laser. Or whether there are different manufacturers... I am 40 now. I did my first Fraxel at 37 and had four treatments in total so far. I am planning to go back for my fifth treatment and have revisited this message board. I keep looking at my skin closely to see if I have any of the texture problems discussed here but can't see anything. I did get a few new fine lines now at 40 which I didn't have at 37 but that's ageing.. I also had a baby 18 months ago which didn't do any wonders for my skin. So i think i will go ahead and do that next treatment, keeping fingers crossed.
