  I'm sorry to hear that wasn't successful. I'm planning to have this surgery as a birthday present to myself in a few years time. I don't think I'm allowed to put a website here, so Google Dr George Marcells. He's in the eastern suburbs (Bondi Junction). My friend's mum had it done a few years ago, I'll check with her too so you have options.

  Thanks for your posts, they're really interesting. I'm also considering Invisalign but the cost is a little out of my budget at the moment. Is your health fund covering much of your treatment? I'd like to see someone for a consultation in the Bondi area - can you recommend anyone?

  Hi mariposa_1, I'm considering Invisalign too so I've done a bit of research on the internet. I've never read a review as descriptive as yours. Everyone says how easy it is, but your honest post shows it can be tricky at times. Thanks so much.
  
  I'm in Sydney as well, so I'll back to see how you feel about the end result and if you do end up posting your Ortho's name. I'm looking for someone around Bondi.
  
  If you don't mind, can I please ask :
  - how much of that $4,700 was covered by your health fund?
  - when you say you have pain, is it relieved by Panadol, or do you need something stronger?
