After many weeks of using Latisse from India, the web pharmacy stopped selling it. Instead, I switched to inhousepharmacy.com but I am starting to suspect that the Latisse/Lumigan they are selling is not really Lumigan. Has anyone used that pharmacy to buy Latisse, and have you an opinion?
I am not a dermatologist (though that never stops me from having an opinion), but I do know that all hair follicles go through three stages: growing a hair, maintaining or holding the hair, and shedding. Then the cycle starts over. Shedding is a natural conclusion to the life of a hair. If we start a whole batch of hairs growing at the same time, as we did when we stimulated all those follicles with Lumigan or Latisse, it stands to reason that we will shed a group at the same time. So my advice as an eager lash grower is to keep on your usual schedule. In a short time the new hairs will be back in a rapid growth phase. BTW, a stranger at my local PUBLIX grocery store the other day said "you have great eyes." Me???? The previously bald-lidded circus freak??
No doubt, my lashes are now very long. But the thickness has not changed.
However, I had nearly bald eyelids when I started, so I'm not going to complain.
*peers into magnifying mirror hopefully for the 85th time this week.*
A good male friend of mine commented that women waste far too much time worrying whether their purses match their shoes. "That is the LAST thing men look at," he said.
So I asked him, "What about eyelashes?"
He said, "What about them?"
So, maybe I am fussing over this thickness thing a BIT too much???

Arrrrgh! whan I saw the number of Latisse/Lumigan posts increasing on here, exponentially, a little voice in my head said, "this won't last." Glad I ordered three bottles my last time, but when those run out, I REFUSE to pay $120. I am betting that a black market supplier will surface because the desire for ths product is so huge.
And by the way, ladies, don't shed any tears for Allergan. The active ingredient, bimatoprost, has been around for decades. Allergan just decided to make a few extra millions marketing it as a cosmetic. Grrrrr!
