  OMG when will this swelling go away!!!!!!!!!!! I am 2 1/2 weeks post op and the swelling is still bad. Today was a very tough day, I started swelling up while driving to work this morning and it didn't get better, I couldn't wait to leave work and just lay down on the couch. I feel better after laying down for 2 hours but I just want to be normal.

  hi ladies, I just wanted to update you all. I spoke with the nurse and she couldn't figure out why I was vomitting so much. So I made a decision to bear the pain and go without the meds. The vomitting was worst than the pain I felt. Today is day 3 and pain is still there but more tolerable. It's just painful get up from the couch and getting back down. I am very swollen today. I don't know why. I have been really watching my diet, just eating fruits and veggies.
  I took a shower and my belly is so sore and numb that I can't get the markings off of it. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow. Not sure if I am going back to work on Monday or just taking another day off to recoup.

  Bella, I had my surgery yesterday, the process went really really well. He work on me for a long time. I didn't feel any pain at all, he took out almost 2 contains of fat and fluid, he said it was about 8 to 10 pounds. I left there feeling great, couldn't believe how good I felt until I was in the car, then I threw up. I had brought with me a small basin just in case, good thing I did. then at home I took the pain meds and had a small amount of food to eat and drink, well I threw up all night. I couldn't keep water down, it was awful. So I am not on pain meds right now and I am in so much pain I can't stand it.
  
  The compression garment I got has the zipper on the side, I can't feel it digging into me now because of all the bandages I still have on. I am taking my shower tonight which I will remove the large bandages and replace them with the small ones I purchased.
  
  I really want this week to go by fast so the pain will go away.

  Bella, you look amazing in that dress. Your waist is so so tiny. I bet you feel like a million bucks. My procedure is tomorrow morning, I am hoping for an hour glass figure with a smaller waist.
  MBridget, good luck with the massages, keep us posted with any tips on getting rid of the swelling and lumps.

  Bella, your posts have been so helpful to me. I am having my surgery in 2 days, I have read and read your experience to prepare for what is to come. I hope I am doing the right thing. I hope after it's all done, I won't regret going thru the pain and discomfort.
  
  I hope your swelling goes down pretty soon.
