I have a lot of problems with my legs hurting if I sit too much. I didn't think about this until after the surgery... So I ordered some of those leg massagers that they put on you while in surgery. Much better! I highly recommend getting something like this so it's more comfortable during recovery. So happy they arrived today. Now I don't need to walk as much!
Yes! It gets much better! Hang in there. I am 13 days po and have been upright since day 3. Everyone is different, but I'm sure this time next year all of this will be a distant memory!
Hi - I'm new to the forum, but I had my TT on 7/10. I feel awesome, no pain, etc., but my drains are still in. The dr. says I'm doing too much (it's tough to stay still when you feel fine). I have another appointment on Wednesday, so I'm hoping for a miracle. The fluid is still a dark red, but the volume has gone down to about 25cc (each drain) in a 24 hr. period.
I think you can do it! I currently do not work, but am a stay at home mom to a two year old & twin one year olds, so I'll be back to caring for them again in a few weeks. :-) Just listen to your body and the doctor & nurses and get as much help as you can. It's worth it!
