  I also want to add, dentists advertise their veneer services with stock photos, rarely any of the veneers they themselves have done. I have doubts a lot of those stock photos even are veneers! If you look at beautiful, appealing smiles they always have some crooked teeth, some irregular teeth, something individual and unique, intriguing and exciting. Veneers are boring and fake looking. They claim the veneers will not end up forward but they always do. It looks wrong. Teeth are meant to be set back behind the lips, not pushing themselves out of your mouth. All of the prep is trauma to your teeth and to your body in general. Don't put your looks in the hands of another individual, you don't know what they think looks good until it's too late. The color of the veneers is also unpredictable; it depends on the color of the tooth beneath + the color of the veneer + the color of the glue! And you don't know until it's glued on (permanantly) exactly how it is going to look. Don't do it. Unless your teeth are so bad that anything would look better, don't even think about doing it. It would be like getting a wooden leg because of some minor imperfection in your leg.

  Don't do it!! I did and I am so sorry. If I could get my teeth back I would. I am told my dentist did a fantastic job but I hate them. They hurt all the time. They are hard and sharp, not like real teeth. They cut into my lip. They don't respond to temperature the same as real teeth, you walk out in the cold, they hurt. They look fake. They weaken your real teeth, they change your bite. You can't bite into a carrot or anything hard, they might break. You can't whiten your other teeth, it gets under the veneer and hurts for days. They don't last! Dentists are not artists, they have no imagination and line up these square rows of teeth with no personality or appeal. I wish I had never heard of veneers, I hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them.
