Frazel Brought my Acne Back...don't Do It! - Shelby Twp, MI

How long before this went away for you? I have the EXACT same thing. I've had Botox over 10 years and this never happened but I went somewhere new yesterday and now 36 hrs later I STILL have a bump at every single injection site (about 10.) looks awful and its hard to know if I should put heat or ice. I called the nurse who did it and she said its probably a "bruise" even though its not discolored and to wait it out....but I'm not so sure....I really look odd like I am breaking out with bad cystic acne. Help!

After discovering a very expensive product that I but at ultra (I think it's by Peter Thomas Roth but I forget st the moment) my pimples and acne are finally back to where it used to be...under control!

Thanks for the comment. It's not rosacea though. They are tiny pimples.

I am feeling so hopeless right now and am hoping someone out there has some good news. I used to have horrible acne....went through 2 rounds of Accutane with no results (Crazy I know!) After years of trying everything; Clear light, regular facials, glycolic acid peels, green peels (painful!) I finally seemed to grow out of it (at 35 years old!!) I decided to attack the scarring issue and got 2 Fraxel treatments at $400/each. I could cry when I tell you that my face is now worse than it was before it terms of acne. I even went to the Dermatologist and he put me on Doxycyline...didn't work (surprise!) That was 2 months ago so I gave it plenty of time. I didn't use any weird creams or oils after the treatments. I went back to the place and talked them into giving me a free Isolaz treatment...but that didn't do anything either. I cannot believe I am 35 yrs old and my face is full of both cystic acne plus tiny little blackheads all over my chin (which I NEVER used to have). Plus I use a high end acne wash, toner, and lotion by Murad, so I'm not cheaping out on the skincare. Any suggestions...anyone?
