In regard to having signed a release form after receiving medications, do you know exactly what you signed? As an RN & Legal Nurse Consultant, it is very important to know what exactly was signed while you were under any type of medications. Informed consent is very explicit under the law as to what, how and when it is to be obtained to be a legal document. You may have some recourse. Were all of these side effects/injuries you've experienced explained to you as potential issues in having the surgery prior to medications? If not, you could have a legitimate lawsuit.
