  • Posted to Update: I month and 11 days Post-Op on 8 Sep 2012

Hey - responding to your update ... I am more then two months post-op and my bridge is still vey tender and stiff, with the tip and underside still swollen, numb, and asymmetrical. had a follow up last week and he said all was healing, and that I could expect the bridge to settle in the next 3 months and the tip to settle during months 8 - 12. My nose was also much smaller after the cast was removed, and I am assuming that the 'final product' would be close to that size... next year :).

Hi - I had my rhino one month before my 45th birthday! Now almost 2 months port op and I love my new nose! And yes, I was told that as you get older it not only looks bigger but also the tip droops. Ugh! I suggest get as healthy as you can in the months before your surgery :)

Love the new pic - your nose really fits your face. My tip and alumna are still numb - I think a lot of nerves need to regrow.
  • Posted to 3 months post op. New pics! on 12 Aug 2012

Hi! Your nose looks great! I am just over a month post - op, and I also had a traveling bruise that landed in my jowls for a few days. Looked like I was clocked in the chin and the eye when I went out. It went away after a while. Congrats!

Hi - if you are looking in NY, my doctor - Ran Rubenstein in Newburgh - is great. I know exactly what you mean about the hiding behind the hair! Since my rhino (one month) I have been pulling my hair back for the first time since I was a teen.
    Good luck on your journey!
