Hi, I had rhinoplasty about a month and a half ago . I also feel its fat and wide and the shape keeps changing all the time. How does your nose look now? Is it better at all? Thnx :)

I don't think you should take ibuprofen as its a blood thinning drug. You should be on pain killers for at least a week or so then switch to something like Advil. You need a medication for the inflammation in your nose to heal and to help the swelling go down. I hope your recovery goes well and after the cast comes off, your nose will swell a lot more so dont freak out. Rest well :)

I had rhinoplasty, septoplasty and a sinus surgery in one day three weeks ago. You honestly need to get some rest the first two weeks. You wont be able to bend down, and do much work so I suggest having someone to help you take care of your kids. My mom was with me for one week because I was in so much pain. Sleep with your head elevated as it helps alot and the pain killers wont let you get much sleep. Today was my first day back to work because I had three weeks off for recovery but I think mine was more compliacted because of the holes they drilled in my forhead area for drainage. I hope you recover easily and smoothly. Good luck!!!
