I have been going to laser hair removal clinic in London and before my first treatment I made sure I asked them all the questions I had about the procedure. Firstly from what I gather the hair has three sages of growth and the hairs can only be removed in the 'active' stage. This is why you are required to have a number of sessions and the treatment can not be done in one go. They also said that its not 100% going to work with everyone, it does have a high percentage of success but they can not guarantee it will work for everyone. Also I am lucky as I have pale-ish skin and dark hair which works really well with laser hair removal but if you have light coloured hair and dark skin it will not be as effective. So far I am happy with the results however I have another 3 sessions to go...will report how successful my treatment has been after my last one.
