No More Fat Little Girl

I am very happy to see some of you choosing the right size for your frame. Just a warning for you short gals like me, please please please be careful on size when choosing. If you go too big, it may make you feel fat. Too big takes up more room on your chest hindering the look of a slimmer waistline. (the chest and hips look) Try a high profile implant to make you look large without taking up too much room on your chest. I know what this surgery entails, money, time, pain, patients, and expectations. I would like to see everyone be happy.

Hello Tiger1, I had 2 consultations for a breast lift with implants. Both surgeons refused to give me input about choosing my implants. After writing this site about that it seemed customary. I was suppose to determine what size I needed by placing samples in a bra. I couldn't tell, I had no experience with this, nor did I know anyone to ask. The only information that I read from doctors was that they said that most women wish that they had gone larger. I am 5'1 tall and I chose 475 high profile silicone. I asked the surgeon if this seemed right, and he just gave me a blank look. I should have left and said forget it, but I went through so much to get that far. It's been 3 months and I hate them. All that time pain (i still hurt) and money. I feel like I am boobs and hips, no waist. I feel fat. Nothing fits me right. If I don't wear something fitted around them and on my waist I really look fat. The armpits of clothing stretch out forward to the max. I had to get rid of most of my clothes because I can no longer pull them over my chest. Shopping for bras was loads of fun (being sarcastic). They don't move freely like a real breast, therefore you can not place them in a bra, the bra has to fit around them. I even have a hard time with sports bras. No joke I tried on close to 30 different bras since my surgery. I ended up with 2 Hanes sports bra, and one Victoria Secrets under wire which at the time I thought I could handle (ouch) I now wear a 36DD I have to admit before surgery I was real saggy from age and a large weight loss. I do look a whole lot better naked, however before surgery I could be creative and make my chest look any way that I wanted according to the outfit I was wearing. Now I have one look, high and large. If a young woman asked me if they should get implants, I would only say to consider it if she was an A cup, or very empty looking and felt less feminine . It is a very serious surgery, especially combining it with a lift. I had complications that I never knew existed. Take Care !!
