  • Posted to Upper Bleph - Pleased w/Results on 14 Feb 2013

had sedatives the first time, which had no effect. Went natural the second time..no pills. I think the numbing shots were the worst part, but well worth it to get the results. And I HATE shots. After the shots took effect, there was just tugging feelings. Just talk yourself thru it, and picture yourself on the beach. The prodecure does not take too long. Prayed for God to guide my docs hands.

I think your lids willrelax more. It really takes about 4 mos to see the true results as they continually change. I go from pleased after the first week, to concerned, to maybe this will be ok, to wish they looked better. Be patient for a while. To me, your pics don't look bad, but I know it is sometimes har to capture. Consider adding pictures with eyes open. Best of luck

Tried to get new pics showing the puffiness above the incisions, but they don't look like what I see in the mirror. Seemed to get worse after the first month. Also, my bruising wasn't bad either, but did lookworse in the pics. The symetry also didn't show for a month or so after. But, again, mine were so bad and so hard to judge. Will post pics again after #2

Healing well. The pinkness faded within 3 mos. The extended incisions turned out not to be a problem and can barely see the extensions. Scarring toward inner corner is more visable. Unfortunately, the lids are still heavy and I will be having a second redo surgery next week. The doctor was very understanding and willing to make sure I am happy with results. I think my lids were so bad, that it was hard to judge how much skin needed to be removed. Thanks for the vote of confidence.
