You will be fine. It has now been nine months, and I feel great and look better in my clothing, No one except my husband knows for sure that I had BA but I have gotten some questions. I always say I got new bras at VS and not one asks anything else, which is the truth. Let me know how you make out.
What type of implants did you have as I am curious to know? I know there can be many complications and sometimes not right away. I hope you are better.
It has been six days since my BA. I got saline under the muscle implants. I suppose there are risks with anything even walking across a street. My sugeon perfers to do saline implants because he believes the risks are not as great as with silicone. If they do leak it will be salt water in your body and with silicone you need to have a MRI instead of regular mamagrams, which can be costly. I never had to take a pain pill after surgery and only took a muscle relaxer at night for the first three nights post op. alond with the antibiotica and anti-inflammatory meds. I could shower the next day and lift my hands over my head. The second day after suurgery I went out to eat and the doctor said that I could drive the third day after surgery but I waited until day five and had no pain or problems. My breasts are still high and somewhat hard but know it will take time for them to feel more natural. I had some bruising but the incisions under the breasts are hardly noticiable. I have always had small breasts except when I was nursing my two children. It is never too late to get implants. I am sixty years old but in great shape from working out the last thirty years at the gym regularly. I say go for it but find the best surgeon in your area.
