Loose the gauze, ointment and bra. You will start to see a change within in a couple of days.
I am on the other side of healing thank goodness.
Now I am left with such huge and ugly scars. I am scared to death to do a scar revision after this last disaster of a surgery .
This is my second lift and the first one went well. I had the incession around my nipple stretch so I did a scar revision then. It was the most painful experience I have had in my life. The Dr put shots of lidocaine around the nipple to numb the area ,thought I was going to die.
The scars stretched back out again so it was all for nothing :( . This time I have both breast that need scar revisions at the T spot and they are huge scars. I feel like he will have to open the incession line so much to correct it. It's like stating all over again.
I am just so tired of it all.
I showed my husband my breast for the first time in 2 1/2 months , He didn't say much , he didn't touch them , and it has been 3 weeks since our first and last sexual in counter . I
Can't stand the way they look so I can't exspect him to feel any different than I do.
I hope one day to be done with all this craziness .

I am on my 3rd month and glad to say almost completely healed.
I took the advice of someone who wrote inon there recovery. I took off all ointments, no more gauze and not bra. . Within a few days there was an immediate.
It has been a journey that I wish I never had gone on.
I must say the scars are ugly and I hope in time they get lighter.
    Good luck on your recovery.

    Hi Barbie Girl,
I know how you feel it feels like it will never get any better . I took the advice from Hiho and took off my bra and have not worn it for almost two week.My breast have done sooooooooo much better.. No bra , no ointment , no gauze just loose fitting tops and lot of air to the wound. I have started using Vitamin E on my incision area for the scaring to soon to tell on that. Hang in there, there is light at the end of the tunnel .It will just take some time. I had my lift May 28 and by the looks of where I still have about 2 to 3 more weeks before they might be healed completely. I too have felt so sad, ugly and depressed . Many of tears I have cried over what was suppose to be something to better myself. .
