I agree about the genie bra. Fits so much better now than pre surgery and you can put it on feet first. Its very comfortable. My new problem is shopping for clothes. Ive just been looking and trying things on but there are so many more options now. I'm having difficulty figuring out my "new look"
Hi August Ladies! I am 2 weeks post op and what a difference. I've found my perception of my size has really been messing with me. Up until about 4 days after surgery I felt very small (which is what I wanted). After that I started feeling like I was not that much smaller. Some days I still feel big some days small. When my teenage son hugged me goodbye Saturday because he was headed to the beach for a week I felt so happy. That was the best hug ever! I think I was afraid to give full hugs before because of the size of my breasts. But this time I got a full body hug and it felt wonderful. Today I put on a summer shift dress and I look 20 pounds lighter. So if your past the first few days but feeling a little down just give it a few more days and life will be so good!
I wore the pj's with the robe when I left the hospital but switched to t-shirt when I got home. It wasn't t difficult getting it on without raising my arms.
