Awe, thank you so much! Yes!! I didn't end up getting any antianxiety pill... I was absolutely terrified! I threw up before leaving for the hospital, I was so scared. The worst part is waiting. I had to be there at 730 and surgery didn't start til 10. But there is absolutely nothing to be worried about. Literally the wheel you in the OR, put some meds in ur IV and your out. Then they wake you up and wheel you to recovery, where you fall back asleep and you won't even remember it lol. I woke up and my eyes were really blurry from the ointment they put on them and that was the worst of it. I felt pressure on my nose but it wasn't a big deal at all. I was a little nauseous even though I had something in my IV for it...so i'd ask before hand. Honestly, just don't think about it. While in pre-op I had a TV in my room and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was on and it was the best thing because I was laughing, not thinking about the surgery and that really calmed me down. You're gonna be fine! If you have any other questions, let me know!
Thanks so much! my tubes are plastic as well...I can see them when I look up, but I can't imagine how they're going to come out because my nose is so swollen inside! I just hope everything goes fast & he gets it over with lol!
