I got them in San Francisco (live here now). The good news for you is the new silicone gel implants don't leak, those were the old ones. I looked at gummy bear when I saw a doctor in Canada - you'll find that they are kind of hard. I don't know anyone who has them, so if your friend likes them that is great but I wasn't a fan. Plus they are not approved by the FDA so I couldn't get them in the US (they are only in Canada and Europe).

Hey Sherwood Park Girl (so funny, I am from Spruce Grove and my whole family lives in Sherwood Park!) It's all up to the discretion of the surgeon whether they want to use drains. Basically your body can absorb up to 30CC of the liquid that's created in each breast after the surgery. The first week or so, you are creating more. That's why she used drains - to capture that fluid until the levels were low enough to be absorbed naturally. If you don't have drains, that's when people experience a lot of swelling and discomfort. I was a little swollen but didn't experience anything like some of the results I read, and I never got 'morning boob' - when you are really swollen in the morning because the fluid has been collecting in your breasts all night.

Hey! I'm with you, I am 4 days post op and right now I am wondering if I made the right choice. Right now I'm swollen, I still have my drains in (which is pretty gross....) and it's almost as though my breasts are pointing down because they are so swollen on the top. I've been assured this is totally normal and within 3 weeks they will feel like mine. I had over the muscle, so I don't have to go through the dropping process, but it looks like yours dropped nicely! Cheer up and let me know how you're feeling as you heal.

Hi kiwi, yes I did do sub-glandular. The recovery has been much easier than I thought because they didn't have to cut through the muscle. I'll let you know how they look in a couple days, but I've spoken to a couple women who went this route and were happy with it.

Hi Pip,we have some similar stats! I am also small and athletic and am getting Naturelle silicone over-the-muscle implants. I think I'm starting off with a tiny bit more than you, and looking for a similar result. I was happy with the 330 sizers I tried on. I can't believe my surgery is MONDAY! Wish me luck!!
