Hi, just thought I would let everyone know how I am doing. went to see my PS last Monday and he discharged me from home care he said he wants no more packing and for me to just put ointment on everyday for ten days and then nothing for ten days and then go and see him. He said it will be all healed by then.....
The nurse at the hospital said she wasn't sure he was doing the right thing and if I had any problems to contact him and the nurses at home care were saying the same..... But guess what?
They are healing, the holes are almost closed and everything feels good. I am looking at this in a positive way and I am determined I will be healed when I see him again in just over two weeks. Hubby took me shopping and bought me the most beautiful watch as a celebration!
Piggles, thanks for the reminder. I am not a sun person now, was in my youth but not any more. My boobs are still mostly covered in dressings anyway....x

When I read your comment about sitting on the deck naked from the waist up, I went out onto my deck and thought to myself Mmmm I could do the same, if I sit in the corner no one will see me but then I thought it was too hot. I am keeping it in mind for the next couple of weeks....
It reminds me of being in Cyprus on vacation about 25 years ago and everyone on the beach was topless except for me, I looked the odd one out but my boobs were white compared to the rest of my body which was tanned. So I sat on our balcony topless in the corner where no one could see me, to get my boobs tanned. But never did go topless, just couldn't bring myself to do it. If I could go back with my little booblets now, I would do it in a second. Keep up the good healing. x
