Pre & Post TT Pics - Wilkes Barre, PA

Im just going to be 5 weeks PO on Thursday. Love, love love my belly. Don't get me wrong, some days I swell & get tired still, but your body will letcha know what you can and can't do. I'm going topmost my before and after pic on my same undies I wore the day before my surgery. Its pretty amazing. Best of luck. My before pics make me sad & my mom sees them & she cries for me. You will be fine. Just rest, rest & more rest. It is all worth it. Even the drains ( put up with them for as long as you have to...they're there for a reason, and without them, the fluid stays in you). They'll eventually be gone. Here's to you finding yourself again

Looking & Rosy-----quick & easy outfits I love are a plain colored sundress (strapless) & I throw a
Light hoodie over me. Also, my size 16 shorts (that I'm loving being super loose) that have pockets up high, with a tank top. I actually attached my drains to the inside of my pockets & I might look
Hippy, but my tummy looks nice. I also throw a light hood on just in case. Girls, the wine was great & my lt stitch area feels fine now. Great chatting, & sharing fears, feelings, ups & downs and days I can't even remember now. Have a safe & blessed weekend. We're all very fortunate to have had this done for ourselves. Talk soon

Looking- went to my PS today--adios rt drain! I held onto his bicep the entire time, & then he showed me the length of that mother. OMG! Wow. I loved the drain for what it did for me, but I have to tell ya, no bad feelings of missing it. He then numbed my pubic area (Holy Mother of God!) and he moved the stitch holding my left drain and just sutured it a bit to the side. My toes curled with the needle that numbed me, but I gotta tell ya, I'm loving the numbness & not feeling the picking burning feeling there right now. He said its normal for some irritation & I can apply some Bactrin on the old area, cover it w gauze & tape my drain to it to give me some extra room so there's no pulling. I feel rejuvenated. Maybe it's the lidocaine, maybe it's my glass or three of RED CAT (lovely wine found at your nearest Wine & Spirits) who knows, but I feel great right now & I'm taking full advantage of that & hopefully my husband later. Happy healing. It's two weeks to the day for me. Ladies, it gets easier & until you go through it ( like most things in life) will you realize what everyone tells you is true. One day at a time. My left drain can come out when my output is less than 30 for 2 consecutive days...hope all is well.

Love my PS-he called back in a very reasonable amy of time...I told him my output was approz 10-15 from my RT drain once a day. The left is draining more & the one giving me an issue. I'm going in tomorrow afternoon & he said he'll remove my RT drain because the output is so low & check out the LT. THe stitch isn't my problem (I don't think). He said sometimes the stitch can irritate the skin & he'll keep that one in but just reposition it & stitch it elsewhere (FEAR) -- hello I'll be awake & there's not much more room between the drain & my 'girl'. But if it means this pinching feeling will stop, I'll bite the bullet & put on my big girl panties & have it done. It's crazy because my incision feels okay ( numb, but okay) my twinges of pain come now from where he sowed my 3 inch separated abd muscles together (sneezing sucks!). I now sneeze like our cat. No other complaints. My shorts want to fall off & I refuse to buy anything new for about 1 more month---I cant remember this feeling before of loose clothes @ the mid line, so I'm enjoying it. Wish me luck tomorrow with the left drain---I'll post how it goes. (sad face)

Question ladies-I still have my drains in & I'm PO DAY 13. My surgery was 6-21. The entrance where my rt drain goes in in fine...soft & not pinching. The entrance to my left drain feels like its picking me & every time I turn, that's where I'm uncomfortable. I had a look & it's a bit red compared to the rt side & a bit more firm. Anyone going through this? It's 730am here on the 4th-I will def be putting a call in to my PS office just in case, but if you've had this same issue, any insight would help.
