Hi guys! So glad I joined this page, thanks heaps for your advice! :)
Day 3 with tray number 1!
Going well although I was not informed about "attachments" but lohen behold I now have 13!! 5 on the bottom & 8 on top! Looks real freaky and makes them more noticeable but on well, I've researched on here and seems like they are there for good purpose, I agree with your above comment Specky343 that the attachments are bloody rough and I prefer keeping them in so it feels much smoother,
my orthodontist filed a few areas down on the trays in front of me before putting them in, he has givin me my next 6 weeks worth and a nail file..lol.. I don't have sores yet ( feel sorry for you guys that do have them) I've definitely cut down on eating, I finish my meal & quickly brush, floss & mouth wash them, also last night I soaked them in a 50 water : 50 white vinega while eating dinner and wow they seemed heaps cleaner- give this a go guys !! :)
Good question caribou in Montreal.. Hope people reply to this !! , I get my first set on in 3 days .. How has your first tray going besides the social life Delma?
Hi guys! Love reading your posts & updates, I ge my first set of trays put on Wednesday 12th September, I'm so nervous - but got to keep positive , I'm a hairdresser and worried I'll be spitting ( from extra saliva) or have bad breath in front of my clients :-/ argh! Love how all of you on this page are so open & honest.. :)
Hey Sezi! Awesome reading your post! I'm 30 too & feel the same , i didnt want train track braces - exactly one week today I'll have my first set of trays on .. Bit nervous, my question is what was it like when you first got them on? Do you talk funny? Also is it true you get bad breath? And extra salvia? I'm a hairdresser and have to talk all day , just bracing myself that's why I'm asking, I paid $8200 in Melbourne by the way.. Can't wait for straight teeth :)
Hi everyone! i went for my first consultation today at the orthondontist to straighten my crooked teeth, he said i am able to get invisilign (im wrapped as i didnt want train track braces) My question is he has quoted me $7800 for 30 trays.. i went to a place in Melbourne CBD - does that sound ok? also i have all my 4 wisdom teeth still in ( they give me no trouble at all) he said i can either get them removed now before my treatment or wait till after - SO do any of you out there with invisilign still have your wisdom teeth still in? or should i remove them before i start??
Love reading all these posts! im feeling positive and excited and cant wait to get started !!
