Have you been staying hydrated? Urine can be a very dark yellow or even brown if you're dehydrated.

Mine is on Friday! I'm excited but a little concerned about returning to school next week. I have only told my Monday professor about the surgery (next class is Wednesday night). I am not afraid to email my other professors if it seems impossible for me to get back on my feet by then.

No going back now. I'm not nervous about the surgery really but I have anxiety about one thing. I asked my PS if he would take a photo of the skin that is taken off and he said that he wouldn't, even after I asked in a way that communicated how disappointing that is for me. I just desperately need to see it and have a record of it. Heck, I would take the thing home in a jar if they let me. I seriously don't know what to do. Here I am paying $8,000 and he can't have an assistant snap one photo? I want to call them in the morning and ask again...

You're looking great! It's nice to see another young person here. I'm still looking for the right surgeon so despite losing all this weight (and having been fat my whole life), most days I don't feel all that much better than I used to.

Thanks Kimmers! I'm essentially over my initial anxiety at this point, haha. You're totally right. Pudgy or scarred, I would much rather be the latter!
