    I'm jumping over from the October board since my surgery was at the end of October. Friday will be four weeks PO. I had an infection at the bottom of my vertical incision. Doc gave me Clindamycin, but I had an allergic reaction to it. Now I'm on Cipro. I'm feeling much better during the day, but the nights are still hard. I can ONLY sleep on my side, and it's just kind of uncomfortable. Does anyone else at 3 or 3 1/2 weeks feel this?

    I'm with you! I was 3 weeks PO yesterday. On Tuesday, I got an infection at the bottom of my vertical in incision that was treated with clindamycin. I had a horrible allergic reaction to that and went off it. Doc said my breast looked OK for now, but gave me a Cipro script in case it got infected again. It did, and I am on my second day of Cipro. My right breast looks perfect. On my left breast, my vertical incision has crusty yellow in the middle and it is red around it. At the bottom, it is yellow crust surrounded by red, too. Anyone else?

    Drat. Now I'm having an allergic reaction to the antibiotics for my infection. boo hoo. Going to see teh PS tomorrow.

    Oh, the itch! I am so itchy along the side of my ribcage. I assume it is where the PS did the lipo, but the itch is unbearable.

    My PS looked at a pic I emailed him and he said it looks infected and to continue with the Clinda. Boo hoo.
