I still have some Hemo Staining but I am seeing it go away little by little and like you the trade off is worth the wait for it to go away. I figure I dont need to see shorts for another 6 months from now so I should be good by then and that is what I am focused on. Thanks for keeping us updated.
Hi Flathlete thanks for sharing. I have been reading stuff all day about how people are unhappy about their results at 2 and 3 months out. Areas heal differently and so do people. I dont think this is the area to bash a doctor because he didnt know how YOU would heal there is the average and then there is you. Its more important that that he is willing to work with you if at 6 months you have not seen results -- which leads to me what someone else correctly stated dont expect to get your legs from your 20's back either. Not only that it is stated this takes 3-6months for results not 2-3 or 3-4 it is up to 6 months so if your doctor say lets revisit at 6 months that is because the collagen has to have time to thicken. This is not a fast food procedure it is more like a 5 course meal at a nice restaurant so it has to have time to do its thing. The staining does go away but this is a major procedure and it takes time as do scars. They dont just go away in a short amount of time that is why it is a healing process. Flathlete you are also right about the activity it was a great help overall as well.
Never heard of dry brushing but hey if it works. Toilet seats are the worst!!!!! Some hurt more then others..and never thought I would say that about a toilet seat. Bathroom with rails will be your friend for the first 2 weeks or so once you dont need to use the funnel. I did however make myself do it, every once in a while, even if hurt my theory is the faster I get used to it the faster it wont hurt anymore. Sore is a good word like a really good workout. I found once I was in a position as long as I didnt move no pain. A rocking chair is also great for the first 2 or so weeks helps with getting up (brought mine off the porch). I liked the "huetsto" just thought it was a plural or stronger version of "hurt".
Sorry I should have added I think the massaging I did helped. As soon as he cleared me I started rubbing lotion onto myself and getting massages. Should also tell you this hurts at first but once you get going it feels really really really good. I also had 3 sessions of Endermologie which my doctor includes with the price. I coupled that with massages at my local massage place each week. Not sure if this was the reason but I am going to role with it since everytime I did have an itch I just massaged the area and it seemed to help. Also get a funnel (such as the kind you use to put oil in your car- .99cents at Target) this way you dont have to take the garment off to pee.
