Hi! I had a Medpor chin implant (intra-oral) by a doctor in Delhi in ending June 2012...BUT... the implant had to be removed (because of extrusion) after three months. Now, even after four months post-removal, the skin under my lower lip is still quite stiff which doesn't allow my lower lip to come back to its original position...so my lips don't look fuller. Yeah...there are also several dimples when I stretch my chin (though not in normal natural position). Well, I think the reason might be- that the plastic surgeons in India aren't that experienced with the Chin Implant procedures... What else!!!!!???
Well, it's clear even on the first day that there is no horizontal projection and the chin still looks receded... and going by the swelling factor, your chin should be showing very good horizontal length which is not the case and which is not going to happen (it's no magic that your chin would start moving forward)...so if healing is not the first condition for a revision surgery, go for it immediately...
Hi Friends ! It's so SAD to know that doctors don't warn people of the so-many potential risks of surgical procedures esp. when those procedures are NOT ACTUALLY NEEDED and are just aimed to make one LOOK MORE BEAUTIFUL.....Now, if you are sincerely WARNED that instead of LOOKING MORE BEAUTIFUL, you can also BECOME DEFORMED, would you still go for that surgical procedure? Just think about it... and you would come to know as to why the doctors DON'T WARN you !? Seems like that nobody really cares about you...and it's really SAD when doctors do that too...
