Wow, I just had my 1 week appointment and had sutures taken out of a scar revision that was done to my lower abdomen. I had 1000 cc total from inner thighs & abdomen. I see results already but also see that I am swollen. I return to gym with restrictions on week 2 and I work tomorrow, but cannot do any lifting but only because of the scar revision and not necessarily because of the lipo. I am a nurse in the ER and I work tomorrow. There must be a reason that your doc has restricted you...it is frustrating but you will be better for it. What is a a couple more weeks? The most important thing is good results after paying to have it done, right? I step down to a lighter garment next week also for 3 to 4 more weeks which I am not happy about but he said he likes "overkill". Yes, I agree, not painful, never needed pain meds. I has thigh and abdomen lipo2 days ago, with the fluid that is injected along with vasor lipo, approximately 1000 cc was removed. I am 5' 8" 138 lbs. I also had a scar revision in my pubis area from an old tubal ligation scar. I have not needed any pain meds at all. I went to my plastic surgeon today and when my pressure garment was removed to check results, I have no bruising except for the scar revision area with a bit of blood collection. Orders to lay on couch today. I feel so good that I have probable over doing it. This procedure has been very easy.
I am having my abdomen and inner thighs vaser lipo in two weeks. I am 5'8" 135 pounds. I have had 4 children and have those kissing thighs and lower pouch. I am a bit nervous after reading everyone's comments.
