Dr Sheftall thank you for your comment, it is nice to feel a glimmer of hope. Is there anyone you would recommend in my area? I did find someone that I have a great feeling about after reading so many informative blogs and reviews but I would be travelling to Arizona. Quite far from Toronto Canada!

Hi Amanda. I have looked up Dr Lista and Dr Weinberg at both seem to be very qualified and skilled surgeons. Im sure that they would not use the "no drains" approach with you if you weren't a good candidate for the procedure. I really wish that I had done some research on plastic surgeons before I went ahead with my surgery, but like I said, I was only going in for a hernia repair and I was really not considering a tummy tuck. The doctor who mutilated my stomach was Dr Robert Lane. At my pre-op visit regarding my hernia repair, he convinced me that he could get rid of my loose skin at the same time and that it would be a very simple procedure. It really sounded like a great solution since I was already going to be having surgery anyway, and that all I would have to do is pay him cash on the side. Red flag in hind sight, but he had convinced me that he was an expert and he did this type of work all of the time. I am so full of regret and so depressed. Both of the plastic surgeons that you've mentioned sound wonderful and Im sure you will be in good hands with either one. I wish that either would be an option for me as well, but I haven't found any information from any surgeons in Canada in regards to removing a pseudo bursa/seroma. Now that my stomach is in such a mess, Im very afraid of doing a revision unless I find someone who is very educated in doing so. I wish I didn't have to do it again at all! Why did you take your pictures off? I would love to see them as your case has actually given me hope that a revision could fix the mess I'm in from my TT nightmare!
