I'm 9 almost 10 weeks post op and I ran today but only for about a half mile :0( My stomach went completely numb so I stopped. The good news is that the spots that I couldn't feel after the surgery I can feel now. The bad news is that my stomach is crazy sore and it took about a half hour for the tingling/ pins and needles feeling to go away. I plan on trying again tomorrow. Have you started running again?

I am six weeks post op this past Friday. I too have a bit of extra when I sit and slouch, but it is just enough to cover my abdomen in the morning after the daily swelling resolves (a good night's sleep is wonderful). I don't have rolls, but it does slightly sit over my incision when I swell up a bit. I'll have to see if I can get a good picture of it and send it your way or upload it on my end. I've learned that swelling will push out what you have (or don't in some cases) and make it look worse even when you look really good. From all of your photos, you look fantastic! Keep an open mind and know that you look wonderful :0) Its just a lengthy process.

The stitch that I was spitting- I snipped it before going to my appointment. He then pulled it out a bit further with a pair of tweezers and snipped it off more. That section closed up. I spit another stitch a week later and that time I knew what to expect. He told me to trim the stitches that were sticking out if I could. I did without problems. I had another one that started through the skin, but it did not break the top layer. I did not pick or mess with it, and it eventually dissolved. The separation that I have now is to be treated by using an antibacterial soap and warm water once or twice a day, bacitracin, and a bandaid. The bandaid part has been horrible for me because I break out from them. I have been applying the bacitracin after showering and then waiting to put my Spanx back on afterwards (about a half hour). He did say that if I start to run a fever or get the chills to get in touch with them ASAP. Four days later, my "split" is starting to heal back up though it still leaks. If you have any questions or want to see a picture, please feel free to message me :0)

Laying on my stomach wasn't all that bad. It didn't really hurt when I laid down without a towel between my breasts but it wasn't exactly comfortable. I felt like I was smooshing them. I asked the MT for a pillow or something and she brought me a towel. She was the one who suggested that I lay it between my breasts instead of above or below it. I followed her advice and didn't have any issues. No pain whatsoever!

I had a problem with spitting a stitch, but I was closer to 3 weeks post op. I just split the middle of my incision open on Monday and my PS said that openings are common. I had some drainage from the area too. I hope this helps!
