Agreed. HappyGirl. Thanks for your interest but if 93% of the patients said they would recommend cellulaze, and the information was obtained in a similar way that you misinterprted my unhappiness as happiness, I question the 93%. Although it's great to hear people were eventually happy with the results, according to the study(ies) you quoted, until I'm one of the 93%, the statistics don't change things for me. Not looking to get into a cat fight here, don't want to waste energy on that. As a patient, I don't say things and mean something else. That's the beauty of a patient forum like this.

Hey gals, thanks for your comments. The "40%" improvement was Dr. B's assessment. Don't know how he exactly determines that when he hasn't examined me. He's looking at my pictures, which are not exactly what my legs look like. The fact that I wore a sexy halloween costume has less to do with my legs and more to do with my courage to wear something when I don't look good, and making fun more important than the results I did not get. DAILY my butt hurts. It's sore from sitting on it for an hour or two. Plus it's flatter, geez, that's sucha a bummer. I'm looking at spending more money trying to get my butt back with a brazillian butt lift. Just starting my research there. My legs are possibly looking worse again. I think I read someone else saying they looked better over a few months, then looked worse. My 6 mos will be Dec 6th. My doctor most likely won't offer a solution, just the usual "wait." Kind of wish I would have paid according to results, not spent $7,200. Not worth it.

Cellulaze is a long healing process. 6 mos. Sounds like your doctor did not fully prepare you for what to expect. My doctor said this: first 5 days I will be saying OMG, this is a miracle (that's the swelling filling up the cellulite areas and puffing them out.) Next several weeks to a few months, soreness, sensitive to sit down, bruising may take a while to go away (mine went away in a couple of weeks. Some people several months out are still dealing with it.) 3-4 mos may see some progress. 6 mos is a decent indicator of results, but could take up to a year. Some doctors say wear the compression stocking for a month, others say 2+ mos. Bottom line: cellulaze works the day we walk out of the doctors office from the procedure. Any lack of results we are seeing is due to swelling that is healing slowly. We did just break apart all those connections in the underlying skin- that's pretty drastic. I had my procedure done June 6. I'm 4 mos out, my daughter says it looks better, but it's still there. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the gals on this site that had it done before me and are having results, that I will have good results too. Hang in there, phase back into normal life, pretend like you didn't have it done, then mid Jan you'll probably see a difference and mid-March, hopefully, you'll be saying how amazing it is. Brittany.
  • Posted to 8 Weeks out and Still Bruised! But Cellulite Has Diminished 90% - North Carolina on 24 Sep 2012

Hi bruiser, I've been watching you since you first posted. I'm two months behind you (approx.) having had my procedure June 6th. Thanks for having real live results (instead of just the before and afters we see on the cellulaze site.) You give me hope. I'm still seeing cellulite that makes me not happy at my current 3 1/2 mos progress. Very glad you have the results you do. Brittany.

Hi Userincalifornia, hang in there. This procedure really requires patience. We had the cellulite for how many years? Plan to give it 3, 4 or more months. I had my procedure on 6/20. My brusing went away fairly quickly, in 2 weeks, but I have read on here that it takes longer for some. At 8 weeks I can still touch my leg and feel 'slight' tenderness. I'm doing 3 smooth shapes as my doctor recommends it. I've come to realize the procedure works immediately, but the swelling takes months to fully heal. From what I have ascertained, the healing process itself produces fluids under the skin on an ongoing process. So it requires patience. What I am doing is just going about my life as I always did, pre-cellulaze, and I'm grateful when I see improvements. Like today, my boyfriend said my skin felt "smooth, really smooth" He could tell by rubbing his hand on my leg that what was underneath feels really smooth. I suspect that come November you might be really happy. Hang in there.
