Thanks Lourdes76, I do have a reputation for being a tough old broad, well deserved I might add! I just think sometimes life's a b***h, and either it's gonna kick your butt, or you are going to kick it's butt. As for me, i might go down, but I'll go down swinging all the way! We tough girls have to stick together you know! You are so right about the P/S needing to be both a physician AND an artist, after all one botched procedure can tremendously affect our lives forever. I thank God every time I put on a pair of pants I do not have to try and hide my overhanging stomach anymore, I'm sure you understand what i'm talking about.So...no, I'm not going to stop having procedures done. I truly believe that plastic surgery is the best thing you can do to help feel better about yourself, I know I do!
Lourdes76 I think we must be related someway, or at least of the same mind, We think alike so much!!! I exercise, try to eat right, stay out of the sun(I've already needed to have three skin cancer spots removed from my face) and I can still find something I'd like to change about my body. I think if God didnt want us making "improvements" to ourselves then he wouldn't let us find great surgeons to perform them!:-)
Excuse me, not apple shaped, PEAR shaped!!! Narrow shoulders and wide hips, large thighs and BIG BUTT!!! Luckily no longer a large tummy hanging out!!!! My PS did a little lipo on my flanks when he did my TT but not nearly enough!!!! As for my bellybutton, I suppose I'm just being overly sensitive but with what we paid and all the pain and things we went through we should expect to be completely happy with ALL of our results. I haven't spoken to my PS yet about doing a BB revision, I'll bring it up when I see him in July.
Lourdes, I'm feeling really good now, thanks for asking.I have had very little pain just a little twinge on my incision line when I turn too fast. Believe me, I, too could go crazy with having
"improvements" on my body and face and legs, and hips and thighs, and...etc..But one thing at a time will just have to do for me. I'm paying as I go so I can't go too overboard with surgeries. The lipo for my hips and thighs is not a luxury, for me it's a necessity. I'm apple shaped and I'm so tired of being embarrassed by the size of my butt and hips, so... that's what I'm getting fixed next. Although my husband keeps warning me about getting "hooked" on plastic surgery I'm not going to stop until I'm satisfied with myself.(Of course by then I'll probably need to start over on some things!!) My PS has a customer for life!
Well, for one thing it's asymetrical and has a small "flap " of skin hanging inside that my husband says resembles a hemorroid!!! Lovely, huh? The scar I can live with, but anyway, I'm with you on changing to a different PS, I'd be upset if mine denied it, too! I'm having to wait until July to have my next procedure (hip and thigh liposuction) due to economic reasons, too! So that's another thing we have in common. It's good to have someone to talk to about these problems,Thanks!!!
