For me, the cast and taping were off after ten days, so I would recommend ten days to two weeks to return to work. However, my bruising lasted an extremely long amount of time due to my thin skin around my eyes. My bruising lasted four weeks, but for most people by two weeks the bruising is unnoticeable with make up. Good luck!
The two people above me are exactly right. Immediately post op and for the next week my nose looked so deformed, and it freaked me out a lot. But swelling can really do some awful things to the appearance of your nose, so it is not going to look like that a few weeks from now. You have a good experienced surgeon, so just feel better and keep your spirits up for now as it will make your recovery a lot better than if you are worried and depressed. Feel better soon :)
