I have also experienced spots after having botox. To be honest I think it is the body's way of getting rid of the poison because Botox is a poison - lets not forget that - and the skin is an elimination system. I will tell you something else as well. I have had botox three times in my jaw. The first time I broke out all along my jaw. The second time I was using Retin A so I had no break out but the gum around my wisdom tooth became extremely inflamed and the third time I got a horrific mouth while I was still using Retin A. It is my opinion that the Retin A stopped the poison escaping from my body through the skin so my body had to find other ways of getting rid of it (or at least the blocking of the skin as an elimination system meant that the poison was reaking havoc around the area where it was injected because it had no way of escaping.) I am a sensitive person in that my body does not tolerate things such as irritating fabrics, cheap metal, chemically cosmetics and toiletries etc. I think that many people are more able to withstand these things but it doesn't mean that chemicals etc are less bad for them you know? To be fair I don't know that much about how botox works on a chemical level and I am sure that there will be some people who think my theory is ridiculous but I can only go on what I have observed and my intuition you know? Question is: is it worth continuing with the botox which produce really nice aesthetic results if it causes problems whenever I have the injections done?

I would just like to say actually that I think I am experiencing a similar thing. I have only become aware of it recently but the jowly part of one side of my face seems to have increased a lot and I am only 24. When I had the procedure done originaly this side of my face was hurting a bit where the cheekbones are. I would not say it is extremely noticeable to another person but I can certainly feel a difference.

So have you found that your cheeks have returned to normal and that your skin is more... supported?

Im sorry but anyone who puts having breast implants over breastfeeding is a fool. I cannot believe that we live in a culture where people value their looks more than they do the wellbeing and nurturing of another soul.
