  • Posted to I did it! Breast lift and augmentation! - Dallas, TX on 7 Aug 2012

I can relate to the pain... I had the BL w/Aug 4 weeks ago and the first week was very tough. I seriously questioned making the right decision as the pain was pretty intense and frightened me. Now I'm 4 weeks post-op and feeling great! I'm so happy I followed through with it... you will be too :)

yeah, that would make me nervous too; but 2 weeks will still be a lot of time left to heal. Tomorrow marks 2 weeks from my surgery and I can't believe how far I've come since then... so remember to take it slow and easy, and you should be fine. (I think the hardest part now is still taking life a little slower, and trying not to forget my body is still fragile.) Sending good thoughts your say, seattle!

Your post-op pics look great! I had the same surgery last week (the 9th), and each day gets a little bit better. Adjusting to the new "weights" and chest/back pain have gotten much better too. Congrats on your new "D's"!

I completely understand how you feel! My BL w/Aug is scheduled for july 9, and i've gone back and forth from completely calm (& excited it's finally happening) to letting the nerves get the best of me. I'm a mom too, and it's natural to have a little bit of doubt in the back of your mind. We always think of our children first, and worrying about them is part of our job. But realistically speaking, we'd probably have more chance of getting into a car accident on the way there than to have anything go wrong during the surgery. I just keep remembering that many other moms before me have gone through it w/o a hitch; now it's our turn!
