Yes! It is a constant sore spot. Exercise aggravates it, it pokes out. I'm not thrilled. I guess I thought by now things would be great but after 4+ months I stil wake up knowing I had surgery. PS said I need to come in & discuss surgery but I don't want to go through it all over. It was the worst pain I believe I've ever experienced. And I've had 3 children, and a hysterectomy.
Hope you are feeling ok. It took me a long time. I am actually still wearing a binder or at least a spans garment everyday. I still wake up "knowing" I had surgery. I am so ready to heal & not even be able to tell, other than the scar!
Hi, thanks for your comment. I can't seem to lay down for any period of time. If I do, I swell. I must lie at an incline. I don't like sleeping inclined, so this makes for a restless night!
But, yes it's normal to swell. I just wonder how long it will last! Sometimes I even have to loosen my CG it gets so uncomfortable.
I am also still on my back. I can turn slightly on my side if I am propped by pillows, but not much. Hope we both start to feel Bette soon!
Thank you for commenting! My incision site has been itching & hurting too. I was thinking this morning, it seems like a different place on my stomach hurts each day. It's like the top, under my boobs hurt today & yesterday right under my incision was hurting. Weird! But I'm thankful for this site because I know I'm not alone in this journey!
