To everyone out there following the IPF saga - I amgoing to stop posting for some time. I am in the process of putting together a comprehensive review of my experince. I am working with another investigative reporter, as my editor and I recgonize that this story has been far more emotional that I thought it would be. I went down to investigate "medical tourism" and put my own face on the line to do it. I am now handing over my evidence to another reporter to complete the final product. Whether we decide to continue to use realself as a blog spot or not is yet undecided. My final, and personal comment is this: Buyer beware! IPF is not subject to the same scrutiny or consequences as businesses this side of the border. Sheri was not even there when I was there - I have never even met this "medical coordinator". She has ignored legimate complaints, slandered previous clients, posted pictures without client permission or knowlegde. Her "team" consists of her untrained husband and two kids, and one cabbie named Rodgrigo. When I purposely left a valuable item in Rodgrigo's cab, he instantly denied it was there and stole it.
As I said, this story is way too emotional for me - for the first time ever, I have become enmeshed and lost all objectivity. I guess when your face is involved and you are subject to shoddy service, filthy accomodations, theft and slander, you lose your sense of reporting in an objective manner. Anyone considering using the "services" of IPF is taking a huge risk.

Your advise is great. I tried to follow it. It did not happen. Dr velesco himself advised the price I paid should have included flights. He saw the pictures of the filth I was subjected to. I did not get the fat transfer I paid for, either. I documented every second I was there with pictures, recordings, and videos. I had a registered nurse with me who also recorded the entire experience. You will never get a contract from IPF. The reason they work out of Mexico is because they are subject to the same legal requirements ad the States or Canada. You get what you pay for. I went down there to investigate the scheme. What I found will be published here and else where. Dr Velesco and Sheri are operating a dangerous business.
Sorry Marie, but I have the email. According to Sheri, "she's nuts". According to Sheri you were troublesome and had crazy expectations. You wanted a miracle and when you didn't get one you went " crazy". Again, I have the email.
