cant even feel them, the cool thing is you can cut them in strips or whatever shape you need. i got the CVS generic brand. 25 strips for $25..you wear them for 3-4 days...take them off when you shower and you can stick them right back on. they have neosporin in them which i think is a miracle drug. :-) i have friends in different age groups. i swear the late 50's and early 60 crowd are much more active than my friends that are late 30s!when i want to jump bars to see bands which means move around to see diff. bands, my husband will say, you're not 15 anymore you know! i'm like, well, you need to stay home then. LOL! i can't believe i'm this old - it's crazy! becuz i feel mid 30. my dad is 89 and very active. we are going camping with him next week and he said he is planning on fishing all day while we hike...i just feel like life is too short to sit still!!

hi, Scrappy, i got the silicone strips because it's like a band aid, flesh colored and felt like i needed some protection from all the sand, dirt, etc. that me and the 3 big dogs stir up! :-) and if it helps the scars, cool! can't really see them under the fold of the breast... what's funny is i had some wrinkling on my chest (sun exposure, i'm old! haha 53) and w/ the BA, no wrinkles! stretched out my chest just right! love them more and more everyday! i'm doing the massages on the bottom and top about 3 times a day...are you doing massages to prevent them from hardening?

it really helped me to look at photos and reassured me that mine would be just fine! i feel like my PS and his assistants should give me more info on recovery - reading these posts have helped me ask my PS the right questions. i got no advice on what bras to buy during recovery and also no mention of scar creams. but everytime i call or go to my after surgery appts they answer my questions but glad this forum has lots of good info! i wouldnt have even thought of scar creams.
my next appt isn't until July 11 - 4 weeks from my last one...which i'm a little concerned about becuz i still don't know if i can get wet (pool, beach), step up my exercise? etc. massage more? i'm going to call today

you will love them! just had mine done Memorial weekend and i can't imagine not having them! it was so nice having a bathing suit on this weekend without the heavy padded bra under the tankini top! i only told one girlfriend and swore her to secrecy.. they most look natural because no one came up to me and said, OMG, did you get a boob job?! even two friends that have had BA didnt comment. i was worried i went too big and they are not at all for my height and weight (5'8" and 164 lbs.) they are just perfect!!!
