**Update** July 12, 2012 Surgery. Healed from slight necrosis/scar revision

This was a huge apprehension of mine as well. I really didn't want to lose nipple sensitivy. However, I had to make a decision based on what was best for me physically. It really does depend on the person. My left side had sensitivity almost immediately and was extremely sensitive. My right side had some extra trauma and for a while there was no feeling what-so-ever in that nipple. Then suddenly the sensation just returned one day (about 6 months later). I'm about 9 months healed now. If you have any questions, this website is the best. It got me through some tough times. :)

Hi ladies, I'm about 7 weeks post-op. my first week or two I cried about every day, probably more than once. I felt like I was an A cup and looked gross. My stomach appeared bigger and I just had a hard time adjusting. Not to mention that after a few days we found I had a complication. Given all that, what you are feeling is completely normal. Once I started getting told constantly how great I looked, I finally started to believe it. It took me longer to heal so it was a bit harder, but I'm really pretty happy now. I won't see my full I still have a lot of healing to do, but I wish I had done this surgery 10 years ago! Just keep reminding yourself why you did it and when you get to start trying on the amazing clothes you could never wear before, you will see how happy you will be. Happy healing!

Chip, I will admit, the ones I've been wearing are super comfy. The barely there ones. But, I figured I'd like to maybe show off some of my cleavage at some point. I went yesterday in a dress bra-less. It was Fantastic! All those years we wore uncomfortable bras. Can't believe I didn't do this sooner! Sorry you are so itchy!
