I explanted 18 yr old saline implants last May 29th 2012.
I was the happiest I had been in years about my body after
wards.I had a local.NO anesthesia.Walked in and out of the
doctors office within one hour, pain free.Took only one xanax before and
two pain meds after.Cost: $500.00 including two front closing bras
and two follow up visits. Doctor Wilmer Wuest.Conroe
Texas.I am back to a 34B bra .I am a little saggy looking from
the side view.But, I am 69 yrs old and would have most probably
looked this anyway.I am not one bit ashamed of my breasts now.
I was disgusted about what I had done to myself from the first day
I had the implants.Nothing but pain for the folowing 18 years I
had that stuff in me.When I my husband passed away, I finally got them removed.I have no regrets what so ever about the removal.When I go to my closet now, I don't have to worry if I am going to look more matronly than I am and can wear any kind of blouse/shirt/that I prefer.AND, bras..don't cost as much.No matter how your breasts look you will be sooo much happier after removal. good luck and I will look for your updates.P.S. this site is how I got up my courage and I am sooo thankful for it.Great ladies here and nothing but honesty and caring.Best wishes for you for the best outcome for you.~Trulyitsme~
All i can say after reading the many posts he is that the plastic surgeons are once again making killing on women that have come to realize that they made a horrible mistake in their younger years..i't too bad I only paid $500.00 to have my 18 yr old saline implants extracted by a very concerned PS, with a local with no problems,,,..Ladies..it should not cost any more than that. i was treated like gold by my doctor and his staff..I had no problems at all afterwards..went back to my ordinary life as I knew it It looks like some of there PS are still wanting to make their money with unsuspecting ladies,,,,Ladies..do your research...and save some money and pain. My doctor is in Conroe Texas and been in practice for 36 yeras.His name is Wilmer Wuest...in Conroe Texas.I had not one bit of problems during or afterwards.

I had my 18 yr old saline implants removed in the doctors office with local anesthesia.It was a breeze.My plastic surgeon is a Dr.Wuest in Conroe Texas.
My cost, $500.00 and two follow up visits included.No drains needed.Only took a prescribed round of antibiotics before surgery and one pain med after.Before surgery, in the office, I took one anti anxiety pill a few mins before the surgery.
One implant had already deflated and he deflated the other during the procedure and just pulled them both out.I felt no pain .The needle pricks were very slight in discomfort for the local.The staff were very good and understanding.I was also fitted with a front closure bra and wrapped with a large Ace bandage and given a larger front closure bra to take home in case the one I wore home was too tight. I highly recommend this doctor.His office is near the Conroe Regional hospital complex in, Conroe Texas. I was feeling great in just two days afterwards.Good luck and best wishes.

I have had explant surgery.It was on May 29th 2012. I had saline implants for 18 years and was never happy with them.I had them in at age 52 yrs because I had remarried and my husband seemed as though he wasn't pleased with my natural breasts.So...like a dummy, I got implants. From the very start, I felt ridiculous.I believe to this day..that my husband got with the doctor and just before the surgery asked that they be bigger than I had requested.I started with 34 B's and ended up with a large 38 D. I had asked for a C cup.My husband passed away and I finally had them removed .Explanting is the best thing I have ever done for myself.I am truly me now.I regret ever doing that to please my husband. Actually, because of the pain they caused me..our intimacy went out the window.
I know you will be much more comfortable now that you have gotten that foreign material out of your body.I send you my best wishes for a speedy recovery.
