Why Did I Wait This Long? Well Worth the Pain and Discomfort.

I have 3M micropore tape over the incision and change it every three or four days. It is actually pretty nice because it is skin colored and helps it from not rubbing against my compression garment. Doc told me to use this for the next month to help flatten the scar and kind of protect it. When I go back in I am going to ask him about maderma or silicone sheets to start making it softer and hopefully even flatter. I know it will take about a year to fade.
