while I love my dr, I am disappointed in the results I received fro Fraxel Re-Pair. I had it for acnes scaring on my chin only. The scarring now is at least as bad as it was. The procedure was done in Nov 2011 and initially ( after redness, swelling) I was delighted. I have had repeated treatment for skin mites and the scarring is really no better than before.
I would welcome any suggestions as to why this might be happening. I am post menopausal but use hormone drops...the dr. suggested that might be the cause of the mite issue until he found out about the drops. Please help.

I had Fraxel Re:pair on Monday afternoon(two days now) , on my chin area only. My dr used the numbing cream and then numbing injections. It was virtually painless and I have not suffered one minute of pain since. It is somewhat swollen and definitely discolored, but continues to get better on an almost hourly basis. I am now beginning to peel and will not go back for follow up until 10 days has passed. I chose Re:pair to deal with acne scars and mild wrinkling. I am very encouraged by my progress so far. I am somewhat surprised by the comments of prior patients in that I have not suffered any of their difficulties.

Have you continued your treatments or were you told that you would only need one to achieve your desired result?
