You could ask the same question from those who have had breast reductions. I have been on both sides. I had a a reduction 28 years ago, then had implants , and am now anxiously awaiting the implant removal. (I have posted in this forum, but it is not up yet). I have had two major surgeries with the reduction, and then the implants. I was never more happy than the years following my reduction. There are many reasons why I decided on implants. I was unhappy from a divorce and had lost too much weight. The implants were a horrible decision, and I have wanted them out from the moment I woke up in recovery. I decided to give them time, and wait and see... They healed fine, I just never wanted to be big again. Well that was almost 5 years ago and I'm so over them. I can not wait to get them out! However, in answer to your question about smoothness. I have had two major surgeries, and am anxiously awaiting another. The body is an amazing thing, and in my case anyway, has healed beautifully and smoothly -with time. I can say that a lift is much more like a reduction, and you should have beautiful results depending on the skill of the surgeon, and your body's ability to heal. Good luck.
