Love my new nose!!!

Yes my ps did alarplasty, my nostrils don't look as flared as they ware and I absolutely love it. I am very happy that I chose the reduction of nostrils. Yes my tip is still very swollen and painful to touch. It did come down a little but I still look piggish lol but I am staying positive and I think it should come down more. In fact now one aside came down more then the other but it means uneven swelling. The side with incision more swollen then the other side so hopefully other side will catch up soon.

I had my closed. Well usually it depends on what you want to have done and the thickness of your skin. Usually if your skin is thicker and you want your tip to be narrowed I think dr prefers open so they can have better view of your nose structure. I know that open technique will leave more scars, however allows surgeon to have opportunity to have a better view. On the other hand, closed technique leaves no outer visible scars (only if you get alarplasty) however, dr does not have as good of view of structure. I had done closed and I am very happy, because I do not want to have scar( of course in some people scar might be invisible due to good healing) but I did not wanted to take chance. Since I was also getting alarplasty, so I decided these scars would be enough for me.

Hey how are you? I went to work and no one noticed that I had anything done. Only one girl said my eyes look big. I guess now when my nose is small other features stand out more. My tip came down little:))) hopefully will come down more. I am just wondering, I have small bump/lump inside of my nose where the incision was made I think . Is this normal? Do you know anything about it?
