If you continue to have problems, look up Manuka Honey. It is really good with healing wounds because it helps build tissue and kills the bacteria that may be resistant of antibiotics. I had an area right at the T of my breast lift incision and that really helped. I was using Neosporin and that wasn't working. With in three days of using Manuka Honey on them, they healed.
If you workout regularly, you probably need a little more than 6 weeks. I started walking everyday for an hour at about 2-2 1/2 weeks. Believe me your body won't let you go any faster than it can go. I really believe it helped me get back to being able to work out. I just started running and I am going to do some pilates twice a week soon. To me, there is really no point in going through all of this if I don't want to keep it looking good.
If your stomach is still sore, you should bend the knee that you want to put on the floor first. Then take the hand that is on the same side, hold behind your knee and use your leg to pull you up. If you're going to sleep in bed you may want to put some tape on your TT scar. I found that mine pulled at the sides when I tried to sleep in the bed. This was uncomfortable, so I was sleeping on the couch for a month.
